For us, eating is a pleasure. And a real travel experience that cannot be separated from the taste. From the rich culinary tradition of Salento we started to reinterpret dishes, revisit them and develop them with broader ideas. And offer the best cuisine. The freshest local and seasonal raw materials are used in innovative, rich and tasty menus to be tasted in the refined Gian Giacomo Restaurant inside the resort. You'll appreciate a perfect mix of traditional and international cuisine, which is always digestible and light, all à la carte.
Surrounded by the greenery amidst the golf course, the restaurant of the ancient farmhouse dating back to the sixteenth century offers exclusively a typical cuisine with tasty local products and dishes. During the summer, the scenic atmosphere of the farmhouse becomes an exceptional setting for candlelit receptions and gala dinners.
From the creative inspiration of our Chef comes the food concept of Acaya Golf Resort. The delicious selection of dishes is the result of research, passion, experience and creativity. Gian Giacomo is the main restaurant of our resort. A wide and elegant space which is the background to a real culinary experience under the guidance of our chef Gabriele Castiello. Overlooking the green garden and the outdoor terrace, the Gian Giacomo is able to accommodate you comfortably and make you taste rich and varied dishes, starting from the à la carte menu, which includes 3 different proposals per course and is renewed every day. The quality of raw materials and ingredients is the basis of our cuisine, which prefers local and seasonal products, always fresh, ranging from the Salento tradition to the best proposals of international cuisine. Whether it is a first course of fish or a meat second, whether it is a vegetables dish or an irresistible dessert, taste and pleasure are assured.

Masseria San Pietro
It is difficult to describe this enchanted place in a few words. A centuries-old masseria, surrounded by greenery amidst the Acaya golf course and next to the Cesine WWF reserve, with a restaurant serving a simple but high quality cuisine inspired by the rich local tradition. In the vegetable garden of the Masseria, seasonal fruits and vegetables are cultivated, harvested and cooked: “local products” in the true sense of the term. Lush and well-kept, the garden shows the information of all its products through labels that explain the origin and characteristics of each fruit and vegetable, and is available for guided tours for children and adults. Here you can enjoy the pleasures of life with the best cuisine, a golf lesson, or a massage at the SPA of the resort. Masseria San Pietro is a cutout of paradise where all the senses are satisfied, among nature and boundless spaces, golf and aromas of olive and juniper, outdoor games, relaxation, excellent cuisine and smiles.
A very rich and tasty Good Morning!
Every morning, when you wake up, the lovely breakfast room on the first floor with a spectacular view of the golf course and of the ancient olive trees, comes alive with discreet vivacity. It is the irresistible call of our breakfast, with its proposals that enrich the buffet and invite you to sit down to enjoy every taste. Croissants and pastries stuffed with the most delicious creams, freshly baked breads cooked by our pastry chefs, assorted sandwiches served hot and crispy, yoghurts and fresh fruit in season, fruit in syrup, assorted pies. Cold cuts are not missing, with salami and hams, and a rich assortment of mixed cheeses including brie, caciotta, cow's milk ricotta, mozzarella cherries and tomatoes. There are also scrambled and boiled eggs with bacon. Last but not least, our corner dedicated to local products with friselle and caciocavallo cheese. The cafeteria is excellent, with espresso and American coffee, cappuccino, mocaccino, tea in assorted flavors. And again fruit juices, muesli and cereals, biscuits, butter, honey, nutella and jams in various flavors. Gluten-free products and soy milk are available on request for intolerant people.
Gabriele Castiello is our chef at the main Gian Giacomo restaurant. Young and passionate, he brings his creativity to the tables of our guests every day and wins over the finest palates with dishes that mix tradition and innovation, combining the unmistakable tastes and flavours of Salento with more international and contemporary notes. His signature dish is the "polpo (octopus) in pignata".
